Aliwagwag Falls Eco Park

ALIWAGWAG, CATEEL, DAVAO ORIENTAL - After having a 58.5km ride from Baganga, definitely we reach the marvelous creation of God known as "Aliwagwag Falls Eco Park" which was located at Brgy. Aliwagwag, Cateel, Davao Oriental. It is one of the ultimate attractions in Davao Oriental even if it wasn't destroy before by the Super Typhoon Bopha (Pablo - Local Name) wayback 2012 December.

The foot of the waterfalls is just along the national highway where in you may took photos of this creation from the bridge. But of course you can enjoy only if you will pay the entrance fee. πŸ˜‚Yes they have an affordable entrance fee which cost Php50.00. Walkways and the overall design of the Eco Park is mainly made up of wood which accompaniment the waterfall’s beauty. The falls made up of 100+ outpouring waterfalls, various rocks and has a forceful current.

There is a trail going up along the left side of the falls. You may see and took photos of the various drops from other view decks along the route. There are designated areas which the staff tells you where to swim and enjoy the cold water of the waterfalls. They have also a monkey bridge that cost Php50.00 where you will be crossing about 45 meter along the falls. Aside of the monkey bridge, there is also a Zipline activity (680 meters wide and 55 meters from the ground) which cost Php200.00. Table & chair Rental cost Php75.00.

Indeed, the atmosphere of the place is very relaxing, peaceful where everyone can meditate while smelling the fresh air, having picnic and enjoy together with loved ones, companies of friends, even families.
