LAKE SEBU, SOUTH COTABATO - I, my wife and our circle of friends went in Lake Sebu to visit and see the 7 cascading waterfalls. It is located at South Cotabato with in the Alah Valley Region. It is known as the one of the Country’s most important Water Sheds and a favorite spot for both Local and Foreign Tourists.
We went there via riding our own motorcycles. We leaved in Davao City around 5’oclock in the morning and arrived safely in South Cotabato at 2’oclock in the afternoon. Lots of problems we encounter when we are heading to South Cotabato. The unforgettable one is when the Police Officials took us because of some violations. ughhhh!!!!!!! But unfortunately we get there in “Lake Sebu”. It’s a Whoaaaahhhh!!!!!! And Yes! I can say it’s worth waiting for even in the problems we’ve meet. You will never ever regret that you’ve come.
Aside from having the most important water sheds, Lake Sebu is a place to relax, unwind with its cool climate, calm lakes and most especially to see the 7 impressively waterfalls. And that 7 waterfalls are: Hikong Alo (passage falls), Hikong Bente (immeasurable falls), Hikong B’Lebel (zigzag falls), Hikong Lowig (booth falls), Hikong K’Fo-I (wild flower falls), Hikong Ukol (short falls), Hikong Tonok (soil falls).
Among of those 7 waterfalls 2nd waterfalls known as “Hikong Bente” (immeasurable falls) a 70 ft. high was the breath taking creatures I’ve seen which made by God of course and it can be reached through walking distance of a 774 steps from the 1st falls. They also have Zip line where you can ride to witness all those 7 Majestic Waterfalls. The ride costs 250 pesos (weekday rate) 300 pesos (weekend rate).
The Entrance fee: 20.00 adults), 10.00 (Students w/ID), 15.00 (senior citizen), 5.00 (children below 12 yrs. old). There are stores where you can buy Souvenirs for Family, Loved ones, friends or even buying some food/ drinks to eat after having a long ride in zip line. They also have accommodation for those who wanted to stay overnight.
So, are you planning for Vacation????? Lake Sebu 7 Falls waiting for You! ☺
